A Special Professional Development Event
Ideal Life Careershop, presented by Kathy Harman of Real Results, Inc. Ms. Harman delivered the presentation at the April West End Dinner Meeting and is offering a focused career workshop over 2 evenings to help you envision your ideal job. If you are tired of being bored, frustrated, or waiting around for a retirement that seems to be getting farther and farther away, do something to make a change.
The workshop will be held on Monday, May 4 and Wednesday, May 6 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.

You are probably aware of the requst for volunteers for the standing PMI CVC committees. Thank you to everyone who already helps. PMI CVC also has some new and exciting opportunities that we are looking for assistance with. Please consider offering your skills, or even stepping into new roles to expand your experience and capabilities.
Seminar At Sea 2009
PMI Central Virginia Chapter and the PMI Hampton Roads chapter have partnered to bring you a Seminar at Sea to the Bahamas October 26 - November 1, 2009. We'll set sail from Norfolk, Va, visit Nassau and Freeport, Bahamas and return to Norfolk, Va. Total cruise is 6 days and offers 15 PDUs. See our Seminar at Sea page for all the details.
PMI CVC Yahoo! Discussion Group is Growing
We now have more than 200 group members. Joining is voluntary and quitting is easy, if you decide it's not for you. Anyone can post topics, including job opportunities, for discussion by the entire group.
PMO LIG Update
The PMI CVC PMO Local Interest Group is open to all PMI CVC members. The PMO CVC Google group currently has an active 110 plus members, and the PMO CVC LIG series is a value added service offering of PMI CVC and members do not have to pay anything to attend. For membership to the Google Group contact the PMO CVC LIG at pmocvclig@gmail.com. Check out the PMO CVC LIG page on the PMI CVC Website for further information about the group.
