The PMI CVC Board needs to hear from you! As your Board transitions into the new year ahead, we need to know what's on your mind. By now, you should have received an email with a link to our 2009 Annual Membership Survey. The Board uses the results of the annual survey to plan for the upcoming year's chapter activities and benefits to our members and community. There are no PMI CVC dinner events scheduled for the month of December. Have a safe holiday break!!! We'll see you again in the new year.

PMI CVC Is Initiating An Outreach Event In Charlottesville
The Charlottesville Outreach Committee is planning a Networking and Interest Open House in late January 2010. More information will be published on the website as details are confirmed. Contact Robert Berlin at CorpOutreach@pmicvc.org with any questions or to express interest.

Even More Professional Development Opportunities Are Coming
2009 was a busy year for the PMI CVC Professional Development committee, and many of you took advantage of these opportunities to expand or reinforce your skillsets. Please stay tuned for our exciting slate of seminars in 2010.

PMI CVC Has Some New Volunteer Opportunities
PMI CVC has more new and exciting opportunities that we are looking for assistance with. Please consider offering your skills in 2010, or even stepping into new roles to expand your experience and capabilities. And don't forget all of our regular volunteer roles on the chapter committees.

PMI CVC Yahoo! Discussion Group is Growing
We now have more than 200 group members. Joining is voluntary and quitting is easy, if you decide it's not for you. Anyone can post topics, including job opportunities, for discussion by the entire group.

The PMO LIG Will Be Better Than Ever
The PMI CVC PMO Local Interest Group is being reconfigured to encompass the entire journey an organization can take in order to produce and effective Portfolio Management Office. Learn more about the broadened mission and future plans in this month's PMO LIG letter.

The PMI CVC PMO Local Interest Group is open to all PMI CVC members. They have some exciting ideas, and they hope that you will join them.
