    The topic is "" The Wrong P in OPM3 - A Portfolio Perspective".

 (The acronym OPM3 stands for Organizational Project Management
Maturity Model, however in retrospect, the "P" should have represented
the word 'Portfolio.'   Fortunately, the upcoming 2008 edition of OPM3
has more effectively leveraged the essential role of enterprise
portfolios and their requisite governance structures.  OPM3
incorporates best practices that synchronize organizational
governance, strategy execution, and project/portfolio management.
Using the best practices contained within PMI's Standard for Portfolio
Management (2008), an organization can cascade its goals and
strategies through portfolios, programs and projects to attain desired
organizational outcomes. The enhanced 2008 OPM3 can be used within
organizations aspiring to assess and improve their maturity and
effectiveness in managing enterprise portfolios, organizational
programs, and projects.  The new standard drives a top-down
perspective on organizational maturity that focuses on Portfolio
Management and the organizational governance required ensuring the
sustainability of organizational improvements.)
