November 2008 PMO LIG

The November PMO CVC LIG meeting will be held next Monday, 11/17/08,
from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm at the Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Davis
Conference Center (Address: 2015 Staples Mill Road, Richmond, VA).

1. Introduction and Announcements of Speaker - Bernie Hill, PMP,
Chairperson PMO CVC LIG

2. Topic: "Enterprise Portfolio Management solution" Presentation by
Wei Tang, director of portfolio management practice at Serco.  About
the Topic:  Enterprise Portfolio Management solution is a dynamic
decision making process that helps organizations to align investments
with their goals, balance risks with returns, and maximize resource
utilization.  The governance processes, combined with best-of-breed
technologies, lets organizations drill down and really understand the
dynamics of their portfolio on an ongoing basis. Organizations that
have implemented portfolio management find that they can now
accomplish more, even in times when budgets are tight. The
presentation will demonstrate how an organization uses portfolio
management tool, ProSight, to enable the decision and management
process. This event will feature Wei Tang, director of portfolio
management practice at Serco.
