To enrich and invigorate our understanding of portfolio management and
the automated tools which support this discipline, several dynamic
companies with the highest-rated tool sets are being invited to
deliver presentations to both the PMO LIG and the entire PMI CVC
membership. The companies being invited are identified in the Magic
Quadrant for IT Project and Portfolio Management - Gartner June13,
2008 and Forrester Wave™ Project Portfolio Management Tools, Q4 ’07.
This first in this series of presenations is Daptiv (http://
www.daptiv.com). Daptiv will be conducting a presentation on
September 29, 2008 during which time they will be providing their
perspectives on project portfolio management and the way in which
their software product(s) support those perspectives. John F.
Filicetti, the presenter will offer a prospective, enlightened and
pragmatic viewpoint of portfolio management that is worthy of
consideration. John will also address the need for an IT governance
structure that maximizes the success of Daptiv PPM within an
organization. He will also address the implementation of portfolio
management processes that will insure the sustainability of Project
Portfolio Management within your organization.
