Roles and Responsibilities
The Vice President of Programs has overall responsibility for the monthly chapter meetings
VP of Programs roles and responsibilities include:
- Work with hotel or other venue to coordinate all chapter meetings
- Provide guest speaker, or other event, for each meeting, and ensure the program information is provided to the VP, Communications 2 months prior to the event
- Management of the registration desk, presentation setup, and room set up for each meeting
- Preparation and follow up required for and from each meeting, including name badges and registration logs, cash collection, meeting evaluation forms and meeting reports
- Keeper of the Chapter’s LCD and related technical equipment, including laptop, extension cord, clock, remote control, and credit card machine

- Familiarization with PMI programs and topics
- Event planning
- Organizational skills
- Negotiation skills
